Yes, I'm familiar with Iplehouse dolls as I'm rather fond of the JID Vito mold. I'm not very familiar with Ringdoll, tho. I find the doll pictured in your link to be a little too sculpted, no pun intended. lol. But all of them are gorgeous!
I'm a little torn right now about purchasing my first boy doll. I want him to look strong and mature, but I don't want him to look too diferent from my two DollZone girls here at home. (DollZone boys aren't nearly as well built as Iplehouse.) So for now I'm in searching mode.

I was actually looking for clothes patterns when I ran across the male dolls. I don't have enough money to buy a doll right now so not even considering it. May never have enough money. Possibly making clothing for BJD's is a different matter. So if anyone knows of patterns or sites where I can find them please let me know as I am thinking about making clothing for them.

I purchased some simple patterns from a seller on eBay. The kit included patterns for stockings, arm-warmers, hat, two-tiered skirt, simple-ruffle skirt, long sleeve shirt, and short sleeve shirt. It cost about $15 with shipping, and I did have to make some minor alterations for my particular doll, but the patterns are so easy to change, I've made lots of variations.
While purchasing your own doll may seem to be far in the future, making clothes is a great place to start! Every mold is a little different, so leave some room for tayloring. And you are always welcome to borrow Eva for a fitting now and again if needed!

Hopefully I should be getting my doll sometime in April. I'm just waiting on Doll Zone to finish processing him. ^_^ I'm totally stoked.
Supreme Over Lord is going to do his body blushing and face-up for me! Can't wait!

I'm excited to see him! Please keep us updated. <3
My girls have been away for a while and I'm super excited to welcome them home this weekend. I have big plans with lots of new fabric to make them dresses and coats, and all kinds of things. I think I've caught the sewing bug. It can be rather addicting.
Some updates on my resin family:
I'm now the proud owner of 2 MSD size girls from Dollzone, Eva and Reiko, who are my pride and joy. I also own 2 as-of-yet unblushed Wonderlings from The Mushroom Peddler, a local BJD artist. They are Dex the Owl and Henrietta the Kitty.
I'm also pleased to announce that my poor Dollmore ASHA head has moved on to a new loving home and dear Charlotte, a DollZone flower fairie, has been purchased by a good friend of mine, re-named, and given the love and care she deserves.
I'll be taking a vacation from purchasing more dolls for a while, as I'm needing my savings elsewhere, but I hope to someday get more!

I have found another Iplehouse Doll I think is exceptionally well done and wanted to share it with the rest of you. Here's the link. Scroll down to look at the pictures of this doll. www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=2444

The moment man devoured the fruit of knowledge, he sealed his fate... Entrusting his future to the cards, man clings to a dim hope. Yet, the Cheap WOW Gold is the means by which all is revealed... Beyond the beaten path lies the absolute end. It matters not who you are... Death awaits you.
