Share you makeup bag! What products do you use? What products should we stay away from? Tips and tricks to share?
Pre-makup prep...
Cleanser: St. Ives Apricot scrub.
Lotion: Cetaphil (its an oil free moisturizer for acne prone skin.)
Makeup...
Foundation: Maybelline Dream Matte mousse.
Powder: Marry Kay Mineral powder foundation.
Blush: I have two I use. 1 is a Marry Kay blush that is almost hot pink. and a Cover Girl that is a dusty rose.
Eye Shadow: I have a few Cover Girl pallets, one in purples and another neutral blues and greens. I have a cream lavender from Maybelline, another neutral pink (I forget the brand) and a cream bright pallet I got from Hot Topic.
Eyeliner: I have a liquid black from LA Looks.
Mascara: Colossal Volume by Maybelline.
As you can see my makeup collection is rather small and all over the place. Many of the items I listed I have had for YEARS because I fail at being girly, so some of them are on their final legs of usefullness.
Currently wanting suggestions on a good eye shadow mulit color pallet to expand my color choices. I feel like I'm being very plain with my makeup. When I put on eyeshadow if you can tell there is color there I'm like "HOLY CRAP!!! TONE IT DOWN!!!" So I'm apparently not very daring in my color choices, but I have seen so many cute makeup designs with wild colors.
I have problems with cream shadows creasing during long wear. Anyone have tips to prevent this?
Also... Eyeliner!!! Is it just me or are those pencils impossible to sharpen? I have tried one of the ones that twist up, but somehow it bled onto my eyelids during the day. Only had some luck with liquid.
