ON THE AMV CONTEST: quality can only be as good as what is sent in, and amount is only on how much people send in. I like the idea of showing other AMV's after the contest entries! I am definitely going to make some changes next year! Keep an eye out for those!

I wasn't able to attend the events Friday evening, but here's my feedback for what I was able to be there for.
Friday: I think there was a fairly good number of events, considering that Friday is the slow day and the crowds don't really start up until after school lets out for the high schoolers, though I wouldn't have minded there being some more things to do besides go to panels. Not sure what, but yeah. First day is always slow.
Not going to mention some of the other stuff the other did, but might mention some of the others. I wish I could have seen the AMV's but had to be in Cedar, same for the Formal ball, but I like the idea that you actually had one because I always want to go to them but somehow never end up being able to go, so maybe next year I can.
There were a lot of cosplay panels, and having my fiance there (he's not interested in cosplaying), it did leave things short for his attention span.... i know it's based off of what people volunteer for, but it might not be a bad idea to limit the amount of cosplay related panels if possible. I know sometimes it's not, because you need to fill up the slots with something, but if possible, maybe limit the number of cosplay events/panels.
If possible, pulling in an industry guest would be a great thing for the con. I remember the first few years I attended when you had Jerry Jewell, Aaron Dismuke, Patrick Seitz, etc, you pulled a lot of people attendance-wise, which i think helped to up the energy of the con. i know budget might not allow for this right now, but it would be a great thing to do when possible.
I know that during the whole "let's wait for masquerade results while the Maid Cafe dances" did get tedious for me and the rest of my group. Too many dances in a row with no real plot or connecting factor kind of turned us both off. We thought they did a great job and we know they put a lot of work into learning and performing, but doing more than three numbers in a row kind of killed both of our desires to even pay attention to what they were doing, so maybe if things could be switched up a bit, add some skits between to "cleanse the pallet" might not be a bad idea.
I missed hearing Jupiter because they didn't play at the last dance... and I'm kinda sad about that. i also didn't see them in the dealer's room, which also made me sad, but maybe i just missed them.

I enjoyed it and was kind of suprised to be stopped like 3 times for a picture (i was the one dressed up like Maka from Soul Eater with a homemade cardboard scythe) The one thing I didnt like was the slow inernet I wasnt able to show videos that were apart of me and my sister's presention on the Risembool Rangers but oh well if I do it again next year hopefully it will be much better especially with the videos. Is Fannatikuu thinking of having Vic Mignogna (english voice actor of Tamaki Suoh, Dark Mousy [DN Angel], and Edward Elric) to come next year? If so maybe he can help me out with my presentation next time and maybe it will turn out better then it did that time Anywho the Fannatikuu was great it was my second anime convention I have ever been to and I cant wait to see what happens next year
